The hallway and front entrance to the lobby strongly smelled of rancid cigarette smoke. My room was the first room to the right of the hall from the front desk. I have a Certified Service Animal, a male Miniature Pinscher and the woman who checked me in spoke little English and insisted on charging me $10 for my Service Dog. I think the only reason she “waived,” the cost was because of the language barrier. The furniture was mix-matched and the bed was exactly as pictured in the on web site. There wasn’t any hot water, which was very inconvenient, especially since it was 5 in the morning and before the laundry operation was open. Only coffee was offered for the lodgers. I will not stay here again.

If you need a cheap place to stay and are not worried about much else, this is your best bet. The good? Beds were comfortable and check in was easy. The bad? The bathroom was unfortunately not clean and the room was icy cold and took several hours to warm up. I reserved a single bed room and was given a different room. I do not expect much from off the highway budget hotels, but I do expect toilets to be clean and to be given the right room.

The family that runs the place seems very nice, however there were real concerns with the room. Previous guest’s leftovers and pet food in the fridge, a lamp in the corner with a cut off plug. On top of which the hotel had very strong food smells in the common area which were strong enough to permeate the room, linens etc. Not worth a $100+
