They were under construction so things were naturally not as clean as would be expected. I waited 10 minutes for someone to check me in upon arrival. I let the front desk know the first night that the room phone did not work and the toilet seat was not bolted to the toilet. They let me know that they would have someone fix it the next day but it was not fixed. The ac unit continued to run even though I had it turned off. There was mold in the shower. The bed was comfortable.

I booked this place because of the 8.8 ratings on Hotels.com. Sadly, I regret it now. At best, I’d say it was 6.5. The place is in need of a real good cleaning & maintenance. Our bathroom door would not stay closed unless we wedged a wet rag in the door jamb. There as an AC outlet with the cover plate unattached and exposed electrical wiring due to the USB powered clock needing power from a USB power adapter (see picture). The place was generally pretty grimy. Lot’s of cosmetic weaknesses in the room. Walls were thin enough we could hear people talking next to us. There was a lot of drywall damage, and both chairs in the room were disgusting. I travel fairly often and don’t remember ever giving a hotel a bad review. The staff were very friendly.
