Location is really good but everything else was not. Building above the underground Tran so shanks all the time. Bed sucks, so small and very uncomfortable. Pillows paper thin. Steps were horrible, very difficult to get upstairs.

The room was very small and not in great condition. There was a wet towel hanging in the bathroom when we moved in and the doorframe had some gray sticky goo on it that hadn't been cleaned off. Beware that there are narrow stairs up to the first, second and third floors and that you'll need to carry your suitcases up yourself as there is no elevator. This was quite inconvenient being pregnant and travelling alone with children. Our first night our neighbours were a loud family and we could hear every single word from their room all evening and everytime they slammed their door since the walls were very thin. The underground also passes underneath the buildning which resulted in sound and shaking every few minutes. However, the location was otherwise good with walking distance to Hyde Park, Marble Arch and Oxford Street. Most of the staff were also very nice.

We appreciated that the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but do not feel like the room was what we were expecting. There are no pictures on Hotels.com that showed the room we actually got and we were disappointed that the bunk bed was halfway in front of the window and the ladder was blocked by an end table. The room was more cramped that we envisioned and there was no room for the 4 of us to turn around or have our luggage opened up unless it was on our bed. The bathroom was as accurately small as depicted in the picture and that was fine, but the shower did not work well. It took ages to heat up and then it felt like it was burning my skin because it was so hot - we never found a middle ground. Also, the doorknob to the bathroom was falling off. We knew the stairwell would be narrow because it is London and sure enough, it was extremely narrow. Our backpacks were fine going up it but my sister struggled with her carryon rolling suitcase. The breakfast downstairs was tasty and plentiful (loved the waffles with Nutella)! We loved that our hotel was only a 2 minute walk to the Paddington Station. Would stay here again because it was cheap, clean, and close to the station.
