Not enough staff in the restaurant or hotel generally. Was often waiting around for service. Lovely staff however. I dont think we should have been charged for the spa. I booked initially because of the spa and the steam room was not working.

I paid £130.00. For a room which was very cold and not clean. It had two radiators in it when b were cold when I checked in at 4.00pm. Spoke to receptionist who was clueless and told me they were on a centrally controlled system that came on at 5.00pm. They still hadn’t come on when I checked out next morning. Never stay at this hotel.

Tired rooms with layers of dust on surfaces, uncomfortable beds, stressed staff, no availability for dinner despite being told there was by reception ( I ate crisps for dinner) and when the fire alarm went off three times in the night (at 3am, 3.30am ) the staff were wholly unequipped to deal with it
