When checking in, Mauri was having a bad, really bad day. When we arrived, our room was not ready and was told to come back in 30 minutes. When we came back, the room was still not ready. Mauri was rude and gave excuse after excuse, requiring us to come back later to check in. Keep in mind that this was well past the check in time. We finally got a room after a lot of back and forth. I would think that when you are at the front desk, you want to make the best impression on your guest. Mauri did not do that at all. Additionally the bar was out of stock on a number of drinks. Again the bar tender gave the excuse that the hotel was fully booked, and that he ran out. This to me is a management issue. If you know your hotel is going to be fully booked, you should account for that. You have to anticipate what is needed and not run out. The bar should be fully stocked. NO EXCEPTIONS. I have to give a shout out to Carolina who went out of her way to help us. Her willingness was 5 stars compared to Mauri's attitude and willingness to help.
