The Good: staff was friendly and handled requests promptly. Location was great, convenient walk to Bank of America Stadium The Bad: the hotel is extremely dated, amenities were not available as advertised. The chair in our room was cracked and peeling, water in showers was not hot no matter the time of day used, and the pool was still closed for the season even though it was after Labor Day

Overall a excellent stay. A few things could have been better. Booked for a concert & a outside pool. Its not as easy as you expect to find a outside pool in downtown Charlotte. Most pools open memorial weekend. Yes, i stayed the week after in June and pool completely closed. I would have taken just being able to lay out but wasnt allowed to go outside at all. Secondly the ice machine.....on a different floor no worries took elevator to the ice machine floor to barely even get enough ice to fill a 40oz cup. Loved the warm cookie at check in and the $20 to park my car wasnt bad at all. Beds slept good.
