we had a very large room, with a balcony area, so that was great. there was no way to shower without holding the shower head, so water sprayed everywhere. there was no AC controller in the room; we had to get one from another room via housekeeping. and, it didn’t work. we had trouble sleeping because it was too hot and stuffy in spite of having the windows open. the breakfast was nice, on the terrace. the pool looked nice (we did not use it). it was a longish walk to dinner ever night, as the hotel was somewhat far from the port. the biggest complaint was the price. we may have come to porto on some special weekend (not sure?), but we paid WAY more than anywhere else in corsica for our stay. that left a bad taste in our mouths.

The hotel was well situated for all amenities in a fantastic part of Corsica. Porto is in a great setting with lovely views of mountains and coast. A beach, bars, restaurants and boat trips are all within easy walking distance (15 mins). The local coastal roads are very scenic and you’d have to go a long way to see anything comparable. The hotel has secure parking and room was fitted to modern standards. Only criticism, the hotel was a bit noisy and ‘echoey’ for late risers.
