The chalet was excellent- location/cleanliness/staff etc. However we were shocked when we were asked for a 300 euro deposit cash or on card to cover any potential damage/theft etc. There is a notice on the reception wall. The requirement of a deposit is not included in your website and whilst it was not a problem for my husband and I some may not have a bank card or indeed extra 300 euro cash. I was not happy providing my card details and it is the first time we have come across a location with this requirement in place.
