The hotel is very old and you will hear your neighbors. It's in a wonderful location though and my room was clean. The heater didn't work, but thankfully it was warm enough without it.

No sound isolation at all, thus not at all private. TINY room. TINY bathroom. TINY shower. All that is part of the historic charm, but not really a great situation. Still, we were happy to have stayed there. Excellent Italian restaurant adjoining and great olive oil and vinegar store on the block.
