Location was excellent. The staff were outstanding. The hotel was overbooked but were able to accommodate us after some anxious moments. Over all we were pleased with our stay.

The location was great! But everything else about this hotel needs work. We booked a 2 queen bed room. We paid extra and picked this hotel for the queen size beds instead of doubles. But when we checked in they told me I was in a 1 king bed room. There are 4 of us. That was not going to work. They offered me 2 doubles. After over an hour of waiting and talking to the manager, they gave me 2 different double rooms for the first night. Then we moved to a queen room for night 2 & 3. But when we got into the second room the A/C unit did not work. We were told someone would bring us a fan and the maintenance guy would be up that evening. We then received a call that they would fix in the next morning. But it was never fixed. It was very hot on the 18th floor. We were very uncomfortable. When checking out they got our bill wrong and tried to charge us $300 more than we owed even after all our trouble we had gone through. The managers at this hotel are terrible! The front desk staff was kind. But over all our experience here was more frustrating than anything.

I made reservations in December for a family event in May. When I went to check in, they told me my reservation was canceled because my credit card was declined. A blatant lie. Also I never received a notice that it was canceled. They then proceeded to tell me that they were sold out, but could offer me a lesser room at the same rate - a room with curtains falling off the window, pictures pulled off the wall, the bathroom a wreck. I totally got scammed! It’s too bad because the hotel is in such a convenient location. I guess that is how they get away with doing what they do. Welcome to NYC!
