Obviously a hotel in transition but it was newly painted. Bathrooms and room were clean. Tiny pillows need to be changed to larger pillows. Clean bathroom, Overall very good.

I have stayed here in the past year prior to this visit. Lots of remodeling seems to be in the works. The room was OK and the bath and beds were clean. The bad was housekeeping needs to step up on cleaning the entire room. There was misc. paper and trash behind the TV stands in both rooms. Parking is easy and the area seems to be safe. The pool was closed while we were there.

Was charged $100 deposit. No problem. However after I checked out and looked at my bank statement they had taken an extra $150. So I call to find out why and was told that the room was smoked in. I am a smoker but went outside to smoke every time. He then tells me that there was a plastic liner over the smoke detector. Why would I go outside to smoke but cover the smoke detector? The first red flag that I ignored was when I walked into the lobby to check in and smelled nothing but wet and mildew.
