Staff were nice, helpful. The room however was not clean. The bathroom had old soap packets there, sink and floor weren’t clean, the shower shampoo, body wash and conditioner bottles were all empty.

The location is excellent, but the rooms are in desperate need of updating and a good deep cleaning. I could hear everyone walking outside and every time anyone used the stairs, and the person smoking outside might as well have been smoking inside my room for how bad it smelled immediately. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it was fine to stay just for a night or two, but I probably won't book there again.

I left a message in the notes section and even called ahead the day of check in to request room access with little or no stairs. I had surgery due to cancer and cannot use the stairs. I was told that we would get a room on the second floor as this floor allows for access without the use of stairs since this hotel doesn't have an elevator. When we checked in the attendant read the note in the system but still issued us a room that had stairs on a different floor. I explained to the attendant that I spoke with Cathy on the phone earlier that day and she assured me that we would have a room with no stairs. He replied that she should have blocked a room for us but she didn't and now that's all they had available. At this point I had no choice but to endure the stairs and a far walk as well to my room. The cherry on top was that there was an almost empty used roll of toilet paper on the hook and no back up roll in sight. I only found this out the hard way after midnight. No plastic cups, no coffee cups, no coffee. It seemed like they didn't even finish stocking this room. It's not like the rates were super cheap either. The bathtub has mold in the caulking and the bathroom door is all scratched up like a dog tried to get out. I won't stay here again. I always us hotels.com and this is the first time that i have booked such a ran down room through hotels.com and I will be hesitant to use them again in the future.
