The plus side of the hostel: the location of the hostel was good, at a walkable distance from major tourist spots. Checking in and out were easy, and the staff was very nice. Simple breakfast was provided. The room and its private bathroom were clean and tidy. The downside of the hostel was the lack of on-site staff at night. We had a peaceful first night, but unfortunately on the second night, there was a group of extremely annoying guests who kept drinking and shouting in the common room until 2.30 in the morning ignoring the 'keep quiet after 11 pm' sign. There were no staff present to control the situation, and those guests failed to listen to our request, keeping us awake until late at night.
