Check in was super easy. Our room was clean. We were about four houses from the shore entrance. We have no complaints and look forward to returning next year.

Nice place.Comfy room.Overall good stay. 3 things though, the bathroom did not smell that fresh even at the beginning. It didn't help that the fan and soap dish were broken. It also would be helpful to have more clear instructions on working the TV as not everyone has the same home set ups. Appreciated the smooth check in/out, and also the 10% off coupon for the pub.

The room was very clean, the beds & sheets were extremely comfortable and the location of the hotel was a quick walk to the beach (less than a football field). The beach itself was wide, and clean with lots of shells. A littlenchilly, but overall it was a nice trip and I would recommend staying at the Surf City Hotel. A heads up for people staying there (or somewhere on Long Beach Island) during off season: make sure you have (or get) dinner early. I was not aware that most restaurants & stores close at 9p and we scrambled for something to eat later in the evening. Nardi's Tavern saved the day (or night as the case may be) with a tasty pepperoni pizza! No complaints at all - just looking to share that information with others so they can plan ahead.
